Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical self-starter to join our team as a Loan Processor, with a focus on income analysis and loan processing. This entry-level role supports various business channels and plays a key part in ensuring efficient, compliant, and customer-focused loan operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Calculate, review, and analyze various income types (financial, rental, business, military)
+ Perform routine data entry and document validation
+ Initiate third-party orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood cert, credit, etc.)
+ Review and rework loan applications to meet investor guidelines
+ Monitor work queues, assign workloads, and intervene as needed
+ Communicate with internal departments to resolve issues and expedite processing
+ Ensure compliance with investor and regulatory requirements, including DTI and LTV ratios
+ Respond to routine calls, emails, and chats
+ Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
+ Strong understanding of loan processing and investor guidelines preferred
+ Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
+ Effective time management and organizational abilities
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (especially Google Sheets)
+ Familiarity with federal, state, and local lending regulations is a plus
+ Mortgage or financial services industry experience is a bonus
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
