Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Palm Beach Gardens, FL that is seeking a Data Scientist. Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Scientist to join our growing data science team. As a Junior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for assisting with data preparation, analysis, and the development of predictive models to solve complex business problems. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or professionals with limited experience to further their careers in data science. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of large datasets from various sources
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns and insights in the data
• Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to address specific business problems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights
• Communicate findings and results through clear visualizations and reports
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and tools in data science and machine learning

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Basic understanding of data science concepts and techniques
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python
• Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn)
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau) is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable.
