Job Overview Upland Construction is looking to hire a skilled, hands-on Carpentry Supervisor to manage residential remodeling projects with precision and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have broad trade experience, strong finish carpentry skills, and a talent for stepping in to complete tasks that don't warrant a subcontractor. This role is critical in ensuring that high-end residential jobs run smoothly, stay on schedule, and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities - Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities on high-end residential remodels
- Perform hands-on tasks as needed to fill scope gaps too small for subcontractors
- Ensure job site safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to maintain project timelines and standards
- Communicate effectively and professionally with homeowners and clients
- Resolve problems and adapt plans quickly to maintain project progress
- Perform and inspect finish carpentry and detail work
- Anticipate project needs and plan several steps ahead to prevent delays
- Maintain detailed daily site reports and communicate progress to management
- Lead by example with craftsmanship and jobsite professionalism
Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in residential remodeling or construction
- Broad working knowledge of all residential construction trades
- Proficiency in finish carpentry required
- Strong problem-solving and forward-planning skills
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor appropriate for high-end clientele
- Ability to work independently and make on-the-spot decisions with confidence
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lead and mentor other carpenters and laborers.
