Assistant Graphic Designer Location New York, NY : Description

Assistant Concept Graphic Designer is responsible for assisting in conceptualizing and creating innovative, brand right seasonal graphics based on trend research. Responsible for working on initial development for all Victoria's Secret and PINK product categories including intimates, apparel, swim, sleep, and accessories. Applies a solid working knowledge of fashion trends and consumer needs to designs.

Your Impact

  • Conceptualize with concept design director the creation of brand-right graphics that push innovation and influence the evolution of product based on trend research, working knowledge of fashion trends, business strategy and reflect the customer's needs.
  • Stay up to date on competitor research and trend analysis by leveraging a wide range of inspiration/data points. Utilize resources in sourcing new ideas, both internally and externally from trend forecasting sites, shopping, brand research, customer feedback & current sales information.
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and present ideas to influence graphic evolution of the product that support brand macro trends and seasonal concept.
  • Mine for innovation in new surface and graphic techniques at initial stages of seasonal development.
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency and ability to multitask.
  • Achieves set goals with acute attention-to-detail, tracking progress & anticipating potential issues.
  • Creates and maintains organization and accuracy of presentation documents and libraries utilizing tools such as InDesign, Smartsheet and file servers.
  • Prepare materials for meetings and presentations and coordinate logistics.
  • Pursue/embrace opportunities to personally grow and develop skills and competencies.

Minimum Salary: $26.08 Maximum Salary: $34.23

Qualifications

Your Experience:

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining flexibility and agility to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Highly detail oriented, and able to manage large amounts of critical design tools to ensure product accuracy.
  • Highly motivated, passionate and results oriented.
  • The ability to develop close working relationships and work as part of a team.
  • Personal professionalism and sense of accountability.
  • Able to travel domestically.
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Illustration or equivalent experience.
